Image Resizer

Resize PNG, JPEG, and WebP images by pixel dimensions or percentage. Keep the original proportions, preview the resized image, and download it without uploading your file.

Resized image

Your resized image will appear here.

Files remain on your device. Resizing exports a single frame and removes source metadata. JPEG uses a white background for transparent areas.

Resize by width, height, or percentage

Aspect ratio is locked by default: changing the width calculates the matching height, and changing the height calculates the matching width. Percentage resizing scales both dimensions from the original image and rounds to whole pixels. Unlock the ratio to stretch an image to independent dimensions. This tool resizes the entire image; it does not crop.

PNG, JPEG, and WebP output

The original image format is selected by default. PNG and WebP preserve transparency; JPEG replaces transparent areas with white. Quality settings apply to JPEG and WebP, not lossless PNG. Enlarging an image cannot restore detail missing from the original; reducing dimensions may produce a smaller file but file size is not guaranteed.

Local processing and image limits

Images are decoded and resized in your browser, never sent to a server. Input files are limited to 10 MiB, and input and output images to 8,192 pixels per side and 16 million pixels in total. Canvas export removes source metadata and exports a single frame, so animated PNG or WebP files become still images. Browser color handling and resampling can change the result slightly.
